The entire Tvheadend team wishes all contributors, donors and users a happy new year!

The xz fiasco has shown how a dependence on unpaid volunteers can cause major problems. Trillion dollar corporations expect free and urgent support from volunteers. @Microsoft @MicrosoftTeams posted on a bug tracker full of volunteers that their issue is "high priority"

It's worth noting that, while we migrated most content (including links, but not attachments), user accounts, and email addresses, we did *not* copy over passwords. When you visit the new forum, simply use the "Forgot Password" link on the login popup to reset yours.

After a long slumber, Tvheadend suddenly blinked, yawned, stretched - and got back to work. A new forum, some new people, and a new issue reporting mechanism on GitHub. There'll be a new stable release shortly. Pop over to see us, or join in if you can! tvheadend.org

32-bit nightly builds appear to currently be broken, will look into it when I get a chance.

And another minor update, we were also missing hdhomerun support. This should be in last nights "unstable" build.

After a minor oversight the latest "unstable" builds now include ffmpeg lib for transcoding etc...

New official apt repository now being hosting on bintray.com/tvheadend/deb . apt.tvheadend.org will continue to exist for now.

@liz_odriscoll based in Ely (aka @adamsutton2101, used to be at ATC) this account has quite a diverse following so more fun :) good luck!
