Spending part of my morning collaborating with regional mayors at the Regional Transportation Authority and @TheGNRC. Key takeaway for Connect Downtown’s regional impact: “Some corridors already move more people by bus than by car. Like 8th Ave S.”

The annual Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival takes place tomorrow. We’re talking about the history of the festival, what it means to the community, and the cultural significance of cherry blossoms with guests, including @tvo320, @AnthonyJVigliet and @Trees4Nashville.

Thanks to nonprofit partners and city leaders, we just reached our target of providing free WiFi to 1,000 community centers nationwide. Next goal: launch 250 new WiFi-powered Lift Zones by the end of 2022.

@ThisIsNashville A few neighbors and I revitalized Trimble Action Group/Chestnut Hill Neighborhood Association! We couldn’t agree more in encouraging everyone to seek out their neighborhood association and meet your neighbors!

Many of Nashville’s neighborhood associations aren’t what they used to be. Some are even in danger of disappearing. So what can be done to make neighborhood associations more accessible to the average resident? We’ll invite leaders, members and non-members to share their ideas.

Our next guest @tvo320 is working on a book drive to get more books by Asian Pacific Islander authors in school libraries in Nashville. Her goal is to give Asian students a better understanding and connection to their culture through literature.
