@Plusovoji @BBCMOTD The clubs determine the kick of times via the Premier League when they put the rights out to tender they could easily change the packages and add more restrictions to help match going fans but are too greedy.

@kumarvikash @MV33Racing It's fairly simple how it works. If you're a footballer and you miss crucial games and your team gets relegated due to injury that's different to if you missed them for punching a ref. Losing control and trying to ram someone off the road is different to screwing up a restart.
English

@MV33Racing Funny how it works.
One moment gets blamed for an entire championship… until it happens to the other side.
Reality is simple... titles are won or lost over a whole season, not one corner....unless it's Australia 2025 🤣🤣

@VichoBurro @Makariotrack @wearetherace Hopefully in years to come he'll have the honesty to admit he is just trying to deflect. Like when Senna admitted when he came up with that ridiculous 'if you know longer go for a gap' line to cover for his disgraceful actions in Suzuka.
English

@VichoBurro @Makariotrack @wearetherace No it wouldn't it's difference between asking a footballer do you regret missing the World Cup final for punching the ref vs getting injured. One is not like the other.
English

🚫 Max Verstappen refused to start his media session at #F1's Japanese GP until one journalist had left it.
That stems from a flashpoint at the 2025 season finale ➡️ the-race.com/formula-1/why-…

English

@Makariotrack @VichoBurro @wearetherace It’s a trait that can cost you and if someone especially a 4xWDC can’t stop themselves trying to ram another driver of the road on purpose it is absolutely something worth pursing as a journalist.
English

@VichoBurro @tweetSP0RT @wearetherace Yep, temper is a human trait, especially under pressure to win in life, but sucky reporting shows they mainly psychopaths
English

@VichoBurro @Makariotrack @wearetherace Deciding to crash into someone wasn’t a randomness. This would be like asking Schumacher if he had lost in 94 if he regretting ignoring the black flag in Silverstone and getting banned for two races. A driver losing points due to being unable to control themselves is newsworthy.
English

@tweetSP0RT @Makariotrack @wearetherace The point here is that things like that can and can't happen, and if it happens, then that's it, no more "what ifs..." just what the destiny showed us
Randomness is part of the life and part of the motorsport since the very beginning
English

@F1JayyUK No because that's wasn't done to Hamilton their temper and crashing into someone on purpose. Its the difference between a player misses a crucial match due to too many yellow cards vs doing a Paolo Di Canio and shoving the ref over.
English

@MCIxKhusanov @HLTCO Well the time difference for one thing. Plus you'll always going to have greater competition for rights in the home market.
English

@HLTCO In India, we can see Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, International games, Prem, Bundesliga and some more things at a price of around 20 quid. Also includes entertainment shows. How the people of UK pay about 200 baffles me.
English

If people were able to legally watch 3pm kick offs in this country at a reasonable price, the market for FireSticks would drop off significantly. Everywhere else on earth, you can watch every Premier League game for a fraction of the price UK consumers are offered.

@MrRahmanF1 @LukeSmithF1 Journalists shouldn't just be stenographers if they can't ask even relatively benign questions like that without retribution then the media need to stand together and refuse to deal with RBR for the rest of the weekend.
English

@LukeSmithF1 I respect you Luke, but don’t act like some journalist who may be your friends persist in asking questions to irritate a driver and get a reaction for an article.
English

@Makariotrack @VichoBurro @wearetherace I think you'd be calling 'the woke' snowflakes if they threw a hissy fit when a journalist who once asked them a question they didn't like attended a press conference.
English

@VichoBurro @tweetSP0RT @wearetherace Yep, the woke can’t stand a bloke that tells stick it up their backside
English

@VichoBurro @Makariotrack @wearetherace The difference with those is that Spain was pure temper which was 100% in his control. Like a footballer punching the ref vs just being sent off.
English

@tweetSP0RT @Makariotrack @wearetherace Also these other moments too and a few more I can't put here

English

@kumarvikash @effonecasualfan Then you say no comment and move on if journalist x asks a question. They're journalists and not (or at least shouldn't be) stenographers. Every journalist and broadcaster should've walked out and refused to deal with RBR/Racing Bulls this weekend.
English

Journalists expect drivers to answer questions honestly. Drivers should also have the freedom to set boundaries if they feel a journalist has crossed a line. Respect goes both ways.
Let's also not forget Max is kind of being softer here compared to some of his past harsh replies. There is a whole compilation video on YouTube I saw once.
English

Fanbases are going to sit and chuckle, even mock the Journo because Max told him to "Get out"
Firstly, it's ridiculously disrespectful for any driver to act this way, they are professionals, BOTH OF THEM!
Unless Giles has a history of constantly trying to get a rise out of Max and targetting him, this is probably one of the worst ways for a driver to conduct himself.
You're setting a precedent where unless you're being asked questions that flatter you, you're going to throw ppl out of press scrums.
Which is a poor look!
Laura 🦋@formuLau16
Max Verstappen has made a journalists leave before answering further questions: Max: "I'm not speaking before he leaves," "Seriously?"- asked the journalist, to which Verstappen replied, "Yep." The exchange continued: Journalist: "Because of the question last year?" Verstappen: "Yeah."Journalist: "You want me to leave?" Verstappen: "Yeah." Journalist: "It's just the question I asked you in Abu Dhabi? Verstappen: "Yeah." Journalist: "About Spain?" Verstappen: "Get out
English

@Vaishach @IllinoisGolfer @wearetherace Red Bull wouldn't all those logos behind Max and on his clothing are there for a reason. Like when football clubs/managers start banning journos/broadcasters for being critical the thing to do is stand up to them not acquiesce.
English

@f1lurker3 @wearetherace If drivers start banning journos for asking similar questions there won't be any left. What do you think happens in those pen interviews where they go round doing interviews with all the broadcasters do you think everyone asks a completely original question?
English

@wearetherace Max is right to do so, that man was very antagonistic last year & asked a question that had been asked 80 times already. Which is exactly why he has no issues with anyone else who was there who asked the same question. Journalists can be critical but also need to be respectful.
English

@Makariotrack @wearetherace What was fake news? His inability to control his temper in Spain cost him the title come the end of the season.
English

@reformexposed Proportional representation, although not quite a u-turn more a case of sticking it in the glove box and hope that no one asks where it is.
