With that in mind The Godfather or Titanic could not be made or cannot win or be nominated for Oscars.

The Godfather is a great work of filmmaking and storytelling.
You can’t shoe-horn in diversity.

It’s strange how people manage to turn this into a huge complaint.
What’s actually being asked for is pretty simple. Just one of these three things:
1. The main characters aren’t all white European or American men.
2. At least 30% of the cast isn’t white European or American men.
3. The story focuses on someone who isn’t a white European or American man.
That’s it.
This isn’t some extreme “woke” demand it’s basically the bare minimum. And honestly, it’s odd that the rest of the world still gets labeled as an “ethnic group”… meaning anyone who isn’t European or American.

The way Israelis have treated Palestinians is the biggest crime against humanity in my lifetime. It's not an isolated terrorist act. It is a sick, tyrannical oppression that has lasted 78 years.
First, they ethnically cleansed 750,000 Palestinians in 1948. They slaughtered them and drove them from their land and their family homes. Then they kept Palestinians in open air camps as their prisoners for 58 years.
Meanwhile, the American press pretended Israel was in danger, Israel was the victim and painted the Palestinians as the evil terrorists victimizing poor Israel - never mentioning Israel's tyrannical rule over 5.5 million Palestinians.
In fact, they flipped truth on its head and called Israel the only democracy in the Middle East. In reality, it was the only country ruling over another ethnicity in absolutely brutal and humiliating fashion.
American taxpayers have been forced by our politicians and media to give this fascist state over $300 billion. We were forced to pay $8 trillion for the Global War on Israel's Enemies. Now, we're made to go into another war to support their sick, oppressive rule over the Palestinians.
Their parliament voted to never allow a Palestinian state. To never give those people their freedom, to never allow democracy, to never acknowledge their humanity. And we are forced to pay for this cruelty and to go to war to protect this fascist state. Enough is enough. Stop implicating America in Israel's moral crimes.

Jordan and Delroy Lindo were on stage at the BAFTAs I'm sorry, this is WILDLY unacceptable on so many levels - mostly so from @BAFTA We can all understand he has a condition, but this is subjecting Jordan and Lindo to racial trauma, which everyone needs to understand is UNACCEPTABLE on every level. The fact that they apologized to the BAFTA audience publicly, but not directly to Delroy Lindo and Michael B. Jordan continues the tradition of prioritizing white comfort over Black trauma.
