This week KCS celebrates Teacher Appreciation Week!  We want to thank all our wonderful teachers for their hard work and dedication to the students and families of KCS! Have a great Teacher Appreciation Week!

Congratulations to Nik Petters and Owen Roberts for being the 2026 Students of Excellence Award recipients for KCS. They were honored by their teachers at the @ResourceStCloud banquet last night. Congratulations, Nik and Owen!

KCS celebrates Administrative Professionals Day!  Thank you to Sara Fix-Davison and Melissa Dunlap for all they do for KCS! All the things in the endless list of tasks a secretary juggles, Sara and Melissa handle them, while always being helpful and supportive to everyone!

Huge shoutout to the @tweetkcs KPTO and parents for the table of grab and go snacks for our staff to enjoy on Conference Day. Thank you!

March 1-7 is School Social Worker Recognition Week! The work that Amy Huck does as our School Social Worker, is vital to our school.  As a mental health professional who supports student academic, social, and emotional success, Amy does an incredible job at KCS. Thank you, Amy!

Candidates for the 2026 Minnesota Teacher of the Year have been announced, and Kaleidoscope has two educators who were nominated. Mr. Young and Mr. Verke are among the 128 candidates for the award statewide. Congratulations!

We want to thank Ms. Sophia Faber for her tireless dedication to the students of KCS! The role of a school counselor is endless in its depth and breadth of tasks and responsibilities. This essential role school counselors play helps students navigate challenges and thrive.

KCS celebrates the incredible work of all our staff members!  This week is American Education Week - - November 17-22, 2025. Please help us thank all the staff at KCS for making our school a great place for students and families!

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office spoke to our @TweetKCS first grade students this morning as part of their Community Helpers unit. The kids really enjoyed the lights and sirens.

Our friends at the Elk River Fire Department are on campus to meet with our @TweetKCS first grade students. My current view might make it tough to get things done this morning.

KCS Families- Join us on August 14th for our Annual Family Picnic. We will be serving hot dogs and chips to all who attend. The Brain Freezze Ice Cream Truck will be in attendance if you wish to purchase a treat to cool down. We look forward to seeing you!
