Sila is a five-year-old child facing a very difficult reality after a spinal injury that forced her to use a wheelchair. Doctors have confirmed that there is strong hope for her to regain her normal movement, but this requires traveling to undergo surgery. Unfortunately, the crossing is still closed. For now, all Sila needs is a wheelchair to help her endure and be patient until she can travel outside Gaza for treatment. The wheelchair costs $1,300, and so far we have only received $10.
