@gigglefartninja Thanks for following! I hope the twin dad journey is going well. When our twin girls were born, we already had two toddler boys. Four kids aged 3 and under was no joke so I know the chaos you must be facing in your home. Good luck with the craziness!

Daytime twin potty training: Conquered. ✅✅ Nighttime potty training: A whole different animal. 😴😴 Should you train your twins for both at once? Here’s what you need to know: dadsguidetotwins.com/nighttime-vs-d…

You do NOT have to do everything simultaneously. That's the secret. Almost every task can be prioritized. Take care of one twin, then the other. Take turns. Triage. You'll feel less overwhelmed the moment you stop trying to do it all at once.

I think twins actually have an easier time learning manners than singletons. Why? They're each other's constant social mirror. Use every snack, toy handoff, and morning greeting as a an opportunity to reinforce good behavior. The twin bond is your secret weapon. Use it.

When your twins drop to one nap, they're awake WAY longer than before. If you see late afternoon meltdowns, move bedtime earlier that night by 30-60 mins. Once they adjust, shift back to normal bedtime. Early bedtimes prevent the overtired spiral that makes everything worse.

Stop saying "Why can't you be more like your sister?" Instead: "Please take turns with the toys." The difference? You're addressing the behavior directly without comparing your twins. Kids hear those comparisons even when you think they're not paying attention.

Want to reduce twin comparison issues? Give each twin regular one-on-one time with a parent. Even just 20 minutes a week. Those solo donuts runs or park trips are where your twins get to be seen as individuals, not half of a pair. The difference in their confidence is noticeable

What do you do when only ONE twin is ready to drop a nap? 👶👶 Don't force them both onto the same schedule immediately! Try a temporary split: let the napper sleep in a separate room while the "ready" twin enjoys some 1-on-1 quiet time. They'll sync back up in a few weeks!

Small change, big impact: Stop introducing your twins as "the twins." Instead: "This is Emma, and this is Lily." Other parents + kids follow your lead. When you present them as individuals, other kids see them that way and engage with them separately. Simple but powerful. ✨

You are just in the middle of a Sleep Regression. It feels like a huge step backward, but it is actually a sign your twins are hitting new developmental milestones. The good news? It's usually temporary. The bad news? You need a plan to survive it.

There is nothing quite as frustrating as finally getting your twins to sleep through the night... only to have it all fall apart a few weeks later. If your twins were sleeping great but are suddenly waking up multiple times a night, you aren't crazy.
