This guy rented the rye crimper from the local county AG office. You fill it with water for weight. Do this every year with no till planting and you'll have your topsoil back within a decade. It's so sad seeing clay subsoil on tilled fields that should be black earth 😔

I don’t always replant corn….. but when I do ….. I make sure it’s at the furthest farm from home!! 👍👌

Well got some fert left, plenty of vetch seed, left over inoculant, a ryegrass issue and a paddock that was destined for lupins. Well let’s see what cover I can grow with vetch at the eve of winter. 😂

Finished up rehilling 2026 Little bit of rain. Just enough to get everything dirty. We’ve put some hours in last couple months. But will be nice to have a 🍺 #agtwitter
