There's probably no convincing argument for Ronaldo being greater than Pele or Maradona. But since they can make an argument, however dimwitted, for Ronaldo being "greater" than Messi, Then they can sneak him above Pele & Maradona. They think it's transitive Theory. LOL.

We haven't called it the greatest club or greatest international player. It's simply the greatest. And by every metric that exists today, it would be criminal, no, that's too weak —it would be an abomination to rank Ronaldo above Messi, when he wouldn't even be second or third.
