This finding is timely given a recent House committee report (covered here in the Washington Post - washingtonpost.com/climate-enviro…) showing how oil companies are actively pushing carbon capture and storage as a way to delay making changes to their core business.

Using an online survey experiment, we find that conservative respondents who read a renewable energy policy alongside a second independent carbon capture and storage policy lower their support for renewable energy.

@jcarterharrison North of the highway is the Jewelry District. It has rebranded as a “knowledge district” and sought university and tech business investment. Therefore construction of high end housing and factory reno has been the priority

@OurHiddenHistry Might not be surprised but these policies disproportionately impacted already disempowered communities. The Fox Point neighborhood for example was a vibrant Cape Verdean community in the US prior to hwy construction. Fox Point is the NE area razed by the hwy running east-west
