In honor of Indigenous Peoples' Day today, we're sharing Sonya Kelliher-Combs's Polar Bear Curl (2017). Using synthetic materials to make artificial rawhide with the addition of fur and hand stitching, Kelliher-Combs (Iñupiaq/Athabascan), creates a series of curled forms.
