The more I look into BTCFi, the more I notice the same underlying problem. To use BTC in DeFi, you almost always go through the same flow: custodian → bridge → wrapped asset → added risk. And every step introduces another layer of trust and another potential point of failure. In practice, to make your Bitcoin “productive”, you first give up what makes it valuable in the first place - control. I started seeing this not as a UX issue, but as a structural problem. And this is where @goNativeCC caught my attention. Instead of trying to optimize that flow, they’re trying to remove it entirely. The idea is actually quite simple, but strong: reduce trust assumptions at every layer and keep only what’s necessary. No custodians. No traditional bridges. No intermediaries holding control. From a technical perspective, it looks like a combination of Bitcoin + Sui + zero-trust execution, with a clear focus on minimizing risk rather than just maximizing yield. And to me, this feels like a healthier direction for BTCFi.
