what I like to do in "me time":
Wrote about one of my favorite topics in system design: Scaling Databases.
Covered: Vertical Scaling, Read Replicas, Replication, Sharding.
Tried explaining it in the most intuitive way possible for beginners :-).

This client used to call me “brother”.
“Bro we’ll build something big together”
I built:
→ Full product
→ Dashboard
→ Admin panel
→ Payments
Launch day comes…
“Let’s delay payment till we get users”
That was the moment I realized:
You’re not building a startup.
You’re funding someone else’s dream.
Now my rule:
No money → No code
Simple.

If you are looking for a New Year's resolution, here's a good one.
Watch all the videos on my YouTube channel. They will change your perspective on system design, engineering, and computer science in general, and help you look beyond interviews.
There are 200+ videos - all no fluff, and each will spark your engineering curiosity.
Watch them over the coming year, and trust me, you won't need any course (not even mine) to become a better engineer and make an impact at your workplace.
Have a great 2026!

@aayushchugh I worked for a client for 6 months; however, I was paid only for three months. When I asked about the remaining payment, they kept making false promises repeatedly, and after some time, they completely disappeared. Interestingly, they never asked to take the source code.
