Apple closed at a fresh all-time high on July 15, up about 4%, after China's regulator approved Apple Intelligence for iPhone users there. Apple outperformed even as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq ended the week lower, with chip and AI-infrastructure names selling off on concerns over surging AI capex.

The CLARITY Act, the bill to set clear US rules for crypto, is back before the Senate. Lawmakers want it passed before their August break, but it stalled this week over an ethics dispute, and no vote is scheduled yet.

The GENIUS Act's one year rulemaking deadline lands July 18. Six federal agencies are finalizing rules requiring a $5M capital floor, 1:1 reserve backing, two day redemption, and full Bank Secrecy Act compliance for stablecoin issuers.

Onchain RWA value excluding stablecoins reached ~$33.5B in early July, up from about $11.8B a year earlier, nearly tripling. The total grew about 4.4% in a single month, spread across nearly 960K wallets.

DTCC processed live production trades using tokenized DTC-held securities this week, spanning Russell 1000 equities, major ETFs, and US Treasuries. It marks the first production trades on the clearinghouse's new tokenization service, ahead of a full launch planned for October.

An update on the tx referral program. Referral payouts have been paused for some users over the past days, and we know that has been frustrating. Since launch, our app has seen strong demand, and that momentum also drew a wave of dishonest and automated activity concentrated in various regions. As a result, verification protocols were tightened and certain regions were restricted to protect the program. These restrictions are temporary. Shutting anyone out is the opposite of what tx is building. The team's priority now is bringing regions back online as soon as it can be done safely and with new measures in place. Payouts are beginning to resume in phases, starting with lower-risk regions and expanding from there. Some users may be asked to verify again as part of this, simply to keep the program fair for everyone. If you completed KYC with legitimate documentation, your referral rewards will be applied retroactively. The team will follow through on rewards earned in good faith. The referral program serves as a basis for the app's growth, and rewards will be distributed fairly. Attempts to game it will not be rewarded. Thank you for your patience and support while this gets handled the right way.
