Again, people can talk out of their asses. There can be and are multiple values for real estate. On a much smaller scale than Mar-A-Lago I bought a project house last week. Craftsman built in 1912 on a .47 acre lot. On the tax rolls for $117K. Listed for $80K. I paid $63K. Insurance company (when I went to insure it) said replacement cost is $280K. After I put about $109K into fixing it up I’ll sell it for around $260K. So what’s the real value? This would explain to any reasonable person why tax appraisal districts and banks don’t listen to owner valuations. They have (or hire) their own appraisers. It’s not tax fraud if you pay the property tax requested by the government. It’s not bank fraud if the bank agreed to lend money on the property after having the opportunity to aporause its value. How much is one acre worth? It depends. What’s in it? Where is it? What’s it being used for? Is it sitting on top of gold or diamonds? Is there a mansion or a flophouse next door? The case in New York is, to put it politely, a frivolous show trial without merit. The state, the AG, and the judge had better pray that courts up the good chain decide their wrongful prosecution isn’t actionable by the defendant.

If Trump now says Mar-a-Lago is worth $1-1.5 billion, then he committed tax fraud. If Trump now says Mar-a-Lago is worth $18-27 million, then he committed bank fraud.

I respect your opinion and the fact you don't want to be associated to politics. I feel so genuinely sorry for conservatives that felt represented by your songs, but I recognize this is the most honest way to clarify some of their expectations that you were one of them, your message really resonated among conservatives and perhaps you might want to reflect on that. Now people can enjoy your music, if they like it, without false expectations of who you are and who you were thinking about when you wrote your songs. My message to conservatives is to keep hoping for the voice and the art that one day will represent the feelings of oppression and despair of living in a new word with an old soul, but never surrender your spirit, your values and your convictions.
