Pretty certain that Chelsea barely did any character profiling when they signed all these guys. Terrible gang of lads (summed up by who the vice-captain is and how he acts) and poorly disciplined. Signing Man Utd’s rotten apple in the dressing room was the final sign of that.

One thing I will say in favour of Arne Slot… Why are people acting like it’s normal for us to be without Isak, Ekitike, Salah and our first two choice goalkeepers at Old Trafford? It’s difficult to build any momentum or chemistry when people keep on missing out. Even Bradley has been a miss and Kerkez’s knock has made him miss out too. Definitely a tough ask but the first half was just not good enough regardless.

Look at the platforms they're given.
Look at what they're being asked to do off the ball as well. Cherki spends most of his game walking. Does nothing for long stretches other than stand and wait for the ball. Wirtz is being asked to carry his DM and his 9 off the ball.
