Kevin just finished editing our Glapthorn Black Hairstreak butterfly images for this season. So many there we could have taken all the photos we want and left in 15 minutes. Great to see so many.

@ScratchTrev Just out of interest, was the comment about sound recording due to there being any doubts about this bird? Just interested as it is the only arctic I've seen! thanks

Next up was the Arctic Warbler at spurn. I've seen a few but none as well as this. Superb views sometimes too close to focus even with the converter off.

@tommartin2013 Yeah does look like it could be small pearl bordered. I saw some in the week. Saw my first Adonis blue today - Currently trying to catch (photograph) em all!

Found this Fritillary on Dartmoor. Bad photo, but I think it may be a Dark Green Fritillary, not a High Brown, based on the third dot on the wing seeming to be in line, not offset. Does anyone know if that is right, or a dodgy ID? Im slowly catching up on my butterfly ID skills!
