BREAKING: Following the news of Texas State launching a new D1 Women's Gymnastics Program, the school announced that Carly Patterson and Jordyn Wieber will be serving on the steering committee.

This is HUGE news. Texas is home to the best prep gymnastics programs in America, especially in DFW. Now, those athletes finally have a Division I home in the state. Great decision from Texas State, incredible upside.

BREAKING: Texas State is set to add gymnastics as an official sponsored sport. Gymnastics was apart of Texas State Athletics since at least 1970s and early 1980s before being dropped along with swimming and diving in favor of softball.
