This is one of the few times I could feel my hands shaking while coding, cuz the conclusion is clear and shocking. Demographic trends are hard to change, but can change every single thing about how a society works. A massive wage arbitrage has opened between the US and its competitors. The overwhelming majority of people in the US have no idea just how much more money they make than the Japanese, French, British, etc.

@JeffWeniger True but also this is driven by higher productivity. So there's a big opportunity in exporting American business expertise, organizational practices, and management know-how. Europe's about 15 years behind.
