9.6/10 is insane. If this was 9.6/10, I'm afraid of the ratings for episode 3 and volume 23 + 25 episodes. We might need accuracy to one hundredths😭 It's probably going to drop to 9.5 or 9.4 eventually. But it's really impressive for what is most likely not a high-priority ep

@pezdov91416 @LNhistorian That still comes down to what i said. Emilia lacked the awareness and mentality. Emilia's speech to Regulus in arc 5 also clarifies these things. I know that you're not saying it's bad. I just don't see much to develop in those time periods.

@tyamam55 @LNhistorian Emilia saw Subaru as a man back in Arc 4. Then a year passed. Then Arcs 5 and 6. Now we're in Arc 10. And their relationship still remains at the level of Arc 4. I'm not saying that's bad, it's just the nature of it.

As much as I praise Mushoku Tensei, I do think the gap between it and Re:Zero is large. Re:Zero stands clear of the rest of isekai in terms of writing… with the sole exception of Lord of Mysteries, of course.

@pezdov91416 @LNhistorian Emilia was mentally a child (somewhat older age 14 rn), she's been evolving as a character in these time periods. This is necessary in my opinion, both for the plot and romance.

@tyamam55 @LNhistorian This doesn't change anything. MT's author found time to develop the relationships between the characters. But Tappei decided to focus entirely on the plot and the lore.

Arc 7: They didn't even see each other, Subaru was stuck here the entire time, more than a hundred chapter. Arc 8: They met but Subaru was a child the entire time. Arc 9: Sealed.
