@ivanka_humeniuk Just like Sora... Guardrails way up, capabilities way down. It's still better than the other models, but you really need to lean on storyboards and be more of a prompt master than before. More trial / error.

Super disappointed tbh. Ever since the Seedance 2.0 update dropped on Dreamina today, it feels like a massive downgrade. Prompt adherence is way off, the audio quality took a hit, and the artifacts are multiplying. 🫠
The first half of this vid was a lucky one-shot, but the rest? Took me 5 re-rolls and wasted so many credits. 💸
I really hope I’m just having bad luck today and they didn’t actually nerf it. Tell me I’m not crazy – is anyone else struggling with 2.0 right now?

@jordandchesney Not disagreeing, but because of the realism guardrails, it might be impacting the overall model quality in other areas.

@capcutapp Seedance 2.0 (global version) dropped way off from what people expected. Its biggest edge over other AI models was the ability to perfectly recreate scenes from references—but now the copyright filter blocks almost everything. Look at the difference in my videos: before / now

Just for context, previously when I used character sheets on Seedance 2.0, it usually failed. But then I found a way to do it. Credits goes to my bro @UrbanAcolyte since he's the one who told me how to do it. Basically, use character sheets that don’t have a close-up image of the face. In this case, I just use a three-view (front, side, back) in full figure. Ever since then, it’s been smooth sailing. I don’t know. I assume that placing it that way makes it detect more like a 3D render instead of a real human. I’m just guessing lol. But anyway, here’s the prompt I use in Nano Banana 2. I've heard it's so censored it's practically dead on arrival. No face upload even AI ones, and the Dreamina plan gets you abt 30 videos at the most expensive available plan at $70 per month. If we can't create videos with believable character reference than what's the point? Can anyone confirm this?

@JSFILMZ0412 I will say this. The first version is vastly different than the second version in that video. It has music, better overall audio, better camera angles & shots. Is the guardrails debuff or just a unlucky second generation? Anyway, hope this clears things up.

@JSFILMZ0412 I’ve seen the error before when Kling goes down. If you intentionally tried to generate kling then I wouldn’t be concerned; since the error can appear. If you exclusively generate seedance, then get concerned.
