🧵 Americans will finally learn the truth about how in 2016, intelligence was politicized and weaponized by the most powerful people in the Obama Administration to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President @realDonaldTrump, subverting the will of the American people and undermining our democratic republic. Here’s how:

Organizations must lead with courage. Legal challenges are designed to slow progress, but intimidation can't win. Commit to supporting diverse businesses & advancing #DEI initiatives that level the playing field for everyone. What’s your strategy going forward? #Leadership (5/5)

And let’s not forget—research from @McKinsey, @HarvardBiz, and @BCG consistently shows that diverse teams and companies outperform their peers. This isn’t just a moral issue, it’s a business case for sustainable, long-term success. #InclusiveEconomy (4/5)

Black-owned businesses face higher loan rejection rates, less access to VC, despite having the highest rate of new business formation. Investing in these businesses is key to building strong, resilient economies. ow.ly/iCvM50TOCtC #BlackBusiness #InvestInBlack (3/5)

Women-led businesses are growing at 1.5x the national average but still receive just 2% of venture capital funding. When we invest in women, we close the gap & fuel economic growth. #WomenInBusiness #FundingWomen (2/5)

Last week, @WSJ highlighted a narrative that's trying to undermine the importance of #DEI initiatives. But an important point should be emphasized: supporting Black-led businesses is not just about fairness, it’s about unleashing untapped economic potential. Let’s explore why

It is un-American to deny a private company from giving grants to small business owners. These grants are critical…if that mechanism stops, your main street, that you love, could be halted. The employers on those main streets might not be able to give jobs. This is a really, really important case that could impact millions of people everyday. Yesterday I joined @neal_katyal, @morningmika, @JoeNBC, @mikeallen, and @KattyKay_ on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. A big thank you to Mika, Joe, and the whole team at @Morning_Joe and @MSNBC for telling the @HelloAlice story.

This is incredibly disappointing. I can’t express the trauma of having so many of my family members attend schools with metal detectors and police officers. It was a signal that even at an early age we were “dangerous”. Thanks for raising and hope we reverse this decision ASAP!

Hey @summitschoolws -we've had 4 kids at Summit. Shocked to learn via email that you're bringing a daily presence of armed officers to campus without consulting parents. More stunned that the head of school refuses to talk with us about it. wnycstudios.org/podcasts/takea…
