@Shpigford @openclaw If you’re like me (not an experienced developer) and have a ChatGPT monthly base subscription. Then configure codex 5.3 as the main thing to talk to through OAuth. You should have more advanced models to switch to when you need more of a brain. This will cost tokens.

what's the best low-cost model for use with @openclaw? want to do some testing around running an instance as inexpensively as possible. trying to fine the right balance between cost and functional.

@AdamKinzinger It's already Tuesday in Australia, thus far, it's all good. In Sydney where I am it's nice and sunny. No reports of missing people. Lovely day actually. I don't vote in your elections.

@elonmusk I set my mother up with Starlink in regional Victoria Australia and she has a much superior connection than me living in inner city Sydney in an apartment building with only fibre to the building, then old copper wires which makes my connection so sad and slow.

Starlink’s giant latency advantage is the real killer. Current Starlink satellites at ~550km are ~65 times closer than geosynchronous satellites. Our next generation satellites will be at ~350km, so >100 times closer.
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt

NEWS: A new report by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) found that @Starlink delivers significantly faster data speeds and lower latency compared to Australia's National Broadband Network (NBN) Sky Muster satellite service. Here were the results: Starlink: • Peak download speed: 470 Mbps • Peak upload speed: 74 Mbps • Average latency: 29.8 milliseconds • Average download speed: 192 Mbps • Average download speed during busy hours (7pm-11pm): 165.5 Mbps • Average upload speed: 28.6 Mbps NBN Sky Muster: • Maximum download speed: 111 Mbps • Maximum upload speed: 22 Mbps • Average latency: 664.9 milliseconds • Average download speed: 83.2% of maximum plan speeds • Average upload speed: 112.6% of plan speeds • Average upload speed during busy hours: 102.6% of plan speeds

It’s weird scrolling my for you page. It’s like parallel universes. Some from this timeline, some from the previous one.

If you have @ParamountPlusAU in Australia, the CBS coverage of the US Election is excellent.

Is it usually traffic chaos with multiple car horns honking at Melbourne Airport? I’m staying at a hotel at Melbourne airport and it sounds like downtown New York.

@DrPhiltill The no religion category in the last census in Australia is nearly bigger than the Christian identifying religion category. 38.9% of the country are non religious. The US is way more religious, maybe this adds an unconscious bias.

Talking with my daughter about what countries like/dislike the US. Apparently Australia has one of the most negative opinions. I’m surprised since in my travels I found Australia to be more culturally alike the US than any other country. So why is this???

RIP my beloved young colleague, Jesse. Happy with a new man - and that, it is being alleged, was the problem. Condolences also to the family and friends of Luke Davies. Many tears tonight.

The bodies of the two murdered men are yet to be located but police are saying they believe Constable Beau Lamarre shot the pair in Paddington during the day on Monday then hired a van to move the bodies on Monday evening. They have found the van but not the bodies.
Kate McClymont@Kate_McClymont

Police officer Beau Lamarre has been charged with 2 counts of murder. Looks like he allegedly shot Luke Davies and Jesse Baird with a police gun.
