Unpopular opinion; I’d be interested if Dr Todd’s erratic behaviour turned out to be an early onset dementia storyline. (Also Jacob is an utterly useless medical student - I mean resussing a DNR patient is the sort of thing that gets you sued)

@tygertigs @jcforsapphics I agree, I think they saw that Kev was an instant hit with the general audience and decided to lean in to his funny side. I can’t see him being too villainous this time, but I don’t want his previous nasty acts to be swept under the carpet…

btw I fear kev being out of robrons way and having a "warm and comedic" storyline is much worse than if he would have come back as an antagonist in robrons story, and is simply offensive to abuse survivors

@gertieperkins8 @jcforsapphics I genuinely believe they were caught off guard by Chris’s portrayal - they expected Tony King sinister but instead got charming and charismatic. They decided to stick with that and had to rewrite/ water down storylines on the fly.

@jcforsapphics Yes, I always wished he’d been a clearer villain, he was coercive & Robert was afraid of him as Aaron said, but then they tried to make him funny & sympathetic. Could have been a great story to show Robert dealing with his prison trauma as well as Kev’s manipulative behaviour

@kjlherbalife @robrondryanfan You can’t so I’m guessing they just ignore it. It’s not, strictly speaking the character of Kev that annoys me as much as the wildly inconsistent writing of him and poor planning.

I really don’t get the outcry about k coming back. It was pretty obvious he was coming back at some point. I’ve seen some Robron fans say they won’t watch ED when he’s back. In case you’re clearly not much of a Robron after all. My Kings have been through way worse than k and I’ve still watched. I’m here for every single moment of Aaron and Robert’s love story. k isn’t a threat to them!! Even if he was Robert and Aaron have proven they will always choose each other over and over again even in all their ups and downs!! That’s because one comes close 💙💙
