@LottaJacarandas @notabotRachel @ad0rnai You said women are just pretending to be excited to have dresses with pockets, and she’s explaining why it really IS exciting to her, and not performative. She didn’t miss the point.

@notabotRachel @ad0rnai You're missing the point. No one's mad about a dress having pockets, it's the twee performativity of the excitement about that specific feature that's irritating.

I never understood the obsession with dresses that have pockets, it feels weirdly millennial and performative don’t you have purses? tote bags?

@bougieblkboheme I get what you’re saying, but I doubt there are hundreds of black doctors in just one metro area. They probably had the attendance of more than 75% of Atlanta-area black physicians.

#married2med: The event looked pitiful, I'm sorry. There couldn't have been more than 85 people in there, including the cast. For something of this caliber, she should be filling up a 300 person venue, at minimum. I do event marketing, Toya. Call me, girl.

To get a driver’s license or identification card in Texas, you have to provide your birth certificate, social security card and proof of residency. As such, I believe that Texans who complete this process should be automatically registered to vote. I challenge anyone to tell me why this shouldn’t be a thing, unless the purpose is just to make it harder to vote.

@ferafestiva23 @blu_ceo @JustCallMeAms Everyone’s needs are different. Some need in-person interactions to create bonds, while others need solitude to do analytical work or writing tasks. Some need flexibility to pick up kids from school or start shifts later/earlier. There are job options for everyone’s preference.

@tyinspires @blu_ceo @JustCallMeAms And who on earth said you can’t have a good work life balance whilst being part of a physical team in an office? If anything my work life balance is far better keeping the two rigidly apart. There’s no drift. Home is home, work is work and long may they stay that way.

@ferafestiva23 @blu_ceo @JustCallMeAms Sorry for confusion: I was trying to illustrate that wanting to “be part of something” at work and needing team building & in-person interactions with colleagues is a relic mentality in line with the 80s-90s when managers needed people around to micromanage and assert authority.

@tyinspires @blu_ceo @JustCallMeAms Point neatly missed. I’m not talking about micro-management I’m talking about actually building a rapport with people with whom you’re supposed to work. It’s called interaction.

@Basophani @blu_ceo @JustCallMeAms Yes. Unfortunately it’s the same fate for a lot of blue collar jobs. Just look at dark factories and autonomous vehicles including tractor trailers. Electricians, construction workers, plumbers, HVAC techs, & possibly doctors will be the only human jobs thriving in 10 yrs. 😔

@ferafestiva23 @blu_ceo @JustCallMeAms It seems like your mentality is in line with the job environments of the 80s and 90s where micromanaging and a rigid hierarchy was common. Now managers and executives are mostly Xennials and have less rigid approaches than Boomers, and value work/life balance.

@ferafestiva23 @afistfulofteeth @blu_ceo @JustCallMeAms My husband works with a global team that has extremely different time zones for each member. They function and thrive despite only seeing each other a couple times a year in person. I personally love hybrid because I see my team a few times a month, but mostly work remotely. 🤷🏽‍♀️

@piinnkyy17 @coldie_goldie So this clown blocked me after I proved that most states require fingerprint background checks for teachers. It’s a shame that instead of just admitting his ignorance, he sent me a barrage of tweets and then immediately blocked me to prevent me from countering his lies. 🤦🏾‍♀️

@coldie_goldie Did you at least registered with the county, got your fingerprints and passed drug tests before wanting to be a school chaperone?!?! Because imagine if little Timmy’s dad with a record did the same as you.

@cuteenana13 @piinnkyy17 @coldie_goldie That is absolutely not true! Each school district (even some schools) have their own rules. My husband and I had to pass background checks and fingerprint checks for our school district in Texas. They don’t want anyone with a violent/sexual abuse criminal record around students.

@LagerthaMuadDib @goneers It’s so ironic that a Trump supporter is saying someone lies about everything — yet here they are supporting the biggest conman in history who has told over 10,000 easily refutable and documented lies. I bet you still have hopes for a DOGE check and tariff check.

@trishoncivics @KatMcKinley Yep. They have an upcoming primary runoff election, but instead of focusing on their actual runoff opponent, they are throwing all their money into anti-Talarico ads and messaging. Seems like they are taking him seriously.
