Is esports becoming a legitimate major in higher education, or should it stay a minor or certification? Esports sits at the intersection of: • Marketing • Sales • Operations • Broadcasting • Design That’s what makes it powerful… and complicated. Does it make sense as a standalone major, or is it better as a concentration layered onto existing degrees? Because esports doesn’t replace industries, it builds on top of them. So what’s the smarter move: Create a major pathway, or integrate it into what already exists? Curious where people stand.
