@PROTODOME It sounds like there’s even more artifacting on the pitch correction of those notes too. It’s possible he did actually sing the fitting notes but the producer defaulted the notes to the diatonic key. This makes it even more uncanny, locking into the 12-TET “wrong” note.

musicians and composers - I need your opinion!! I've been in a debate with a few people about the Bublé track 'Everything'. I think he sings distractingly wrong notes, others think it's just a stylistic thing. do you think my changes in the second half of this vid are better?

This dude uploads hundreds of videos of him harmonizing with pop vocals and his intonation, vowel shape, rhythm, blend is always completely dialed in. No fancy recording equipment, just a good ear and a Toyota Camry
