I am appalled to hear about the 31 sloths who died under the “care” of the not yet opened Sloth World in Orlando. These sloths — naturally solitary animals — were put in the worst conditions possible. They were taken from their natural habitats to a packed warehouse that wasn’t properly heated and allowed for the spread of deadly viruses, leading to a stress-induced death. The more I hear from this guy the more I stand by my original assessment. The throughline of his entire oeuvre is glazing and stoking political violence. Which makes sense because he’s hostile to liberal democracy and the mutual toleration it encourages.

The rare American Woodcock is plump, soft and rhythmic, and has become New York City's newest avian star.
Bryant Park does birding tours, but the Woodcock needs no help attracting a crowd.
It's become so popular, the park actually sells baseball caps with the fan favorite stitched onto them.
"The bird brings New Yorkers together. We need so much more of that," said spectator Talisa Shevavesh.
Spectators are enjoying their new neighbor, who in true New York spirit, marched to the beat of his own drum.
