@mattswider @slycorddd Samples and models are never QUITE as good as acoustic instruments, but it’s definitely more accessible to a larger audience which might pique their curiosity to then explore the actual instrument. In the converse, plugins are still a thing and plenty of companies making money

Agreed. I loved the Apple ad the first time I saw it compacting a collective of the best of the arts into a thin, "accessible" all-in-one tool (more accessible than the cost and portability of most of those tool prices combined). But... I get the inverse thinking that Apple is destroying these root tools for profit – hardware that replaces those classic artistry tools with digital and (soon) AI. I'm torn.

🍎Which do you agree with? Apple just pulled its iPad Pro 'Crush' ad & apologized saying it "missed the mark." There are two ways of looking at this: 1.👍 Apple is squeezing all sorts of creativity tools into the thinnest iPad ever, an all-in-one device for mobile artistry 2.👎 Apple is destroying tools of the creative industry to sell you a $1,000+ iPad Thoughts?
