On #PinkShirtDay2024 I experienced homophobia bc of this. The fact smthng so small could provoke someone to say I could "get shot" for sitting at a cafe, how annoying "all those he's, she's, & they's" are - is devastating. The next time you say "Not in Canada" - you're wrong.

Hoot Owl Hoot is a great game for primary-aged students to practice taking turns and working toward a common goal. These Multilingual learners used their new language (English) & shared their first language (Arabic, Urdu, Cantonese) while playing together ❤️ @Hawthorne_PS

We are working our way through the Engineer Design process in our kite building project. Students are putting together their prototype using recycled materials, connecting to the UN Sustainable Development Goal #12 (responsible consumption and production)
