UTEP head coach Joe Golding confirmed that guard Tyreese Watson will be seeking a medical redshirt for the 2025-26 season. Watson appeared in 6 games for the Miners this season, most recently appearing in the game at Seattle. He scored 12 points and logged 4 assists per game last season for ULM and was set to be a difference maker on this year’s squad. #MinerTalk
