Now been confirmed as 229 to 78 tackles, what an effort from @Scotlandteam + four of the players - PotM @rachelmclach (29), @ElliannClarke (24), @JadeKonkel (24) + @skeldonlana (22) - made over 20 apiece... 🤯

Sometimes in sport you just have to roll up your sleeves and get over the line however you can + @Scotlandteam showed immense heart to do that V Ireland in the @Womens6Nations... Scotland made 232 tackles to Ireland's 85, had two yellows + the visitors had 62% possession

The 19-0 win over Italy in the @WXVRugby 2 opener was the first time, I think, since May 2009 that @Scotlandteam have not conceded a point in a Test match - that time was V Belgium in a 71-0 European Trophy win... No doubt current defence coach @tyrone_holmes will be a happy man

Not the finish we wanted however this @Scotlandteam are a pleasure to work with and we will keep growing. Expertly led by @rach_malcolm we have won 7 in a row, won in Wales for 1st time in 20 yrs, Italy for 1st time in 25 yrs and sold out a stadium. Thanks for all the support

What a start to her @Scotlandteam career it has been for 19-year-old Alex Stewart... She has been everywhere V Wales + France, has gone toe-to-toe with top class back-row units + not looked of place +, like every good openside, has been a real nuisance! She has a big future
