Okay, my guy here is coming home after years at Naivasha GK Prison. He should be leaving the doors of Naivasha GK Prison once the Court Order lands there today. Remission of the sentence.

1) The Court of Appeal has today agreed with me and quashed a death sentence meted against my client for the offence of murder. He is to serve a 15 years imprisonment for a lesser offence of manslaughter. It gets juicy to note that the 15 years imprisonment starts running, 1/4.

I received a call from my client's family member, at 12:07 pm on 26/03/2026 informing me that the client had just been released from Naivasha GK Prison. He was a former convict of the offence of murder who was serving a death sentence for a murder charge that occured in 2012🙏🏼.

4) In the end, the good judges (Judge Oguttu calls them the 3 wisemen) agreed with me. In their own words "we agree with the appellant’s counsel that the trial court fell into error by ignoring the defence of provocation." It is indeed a good day at appellate advocacy, 4/4.

I'm from taking a judgment & the Court has set aside a murder conviction & death sentence against my client & substituted it with manslaughter with 15 years imprisonment to be served from when he took plea. My client took plea in 2012, serving his 15 years, he'll be out in 2027🙏🏼
