@dimschko @wxrmbrained @snoopyilya “It reflects life” we are talking about AO3 fanfictions that have tags for a reason. Use them. Rape scenes can be just as terrifying when the reader is not told WHERE it is. It could be in the first chapter, or the 200th. The anticipation/dread works better than-

Saying there is rape or incest depicted within the fic is NOT the same as spoiling it. You can keep when it happens a secret-

How else will an artist convey their message, if not by making their audience FEEL? This is honestly a very anti-art and anti-intellectual take.
