🗞️ Drs. Rob Smola and Andy Marshall will lead the new Point-of-Care Ultrasound track for the @uabimres which offers upper-level residents advanced didactics, and hands-on experience, personalized learning to enhance their clinical and diagnostic skills.

🥳The UA System Board of Trustees recently approved a merger between the Divisions of @UABGIM and Preventive Medicine. This union will bring together specialists in patient care, education and research to create the Division of General Internal Medicine and Population Science.

👏 Kudos to @uabimres Dr. Ethan Pollack for being recognized as the best oral abstract presenter at the 2024 @Alabama_ACP Meeting for his abstract titled "Don't Bite Your Tongue: A Case of GI Amyloidosis." Great job, Dr. Pollack!

🥳 Congrats to our @uabimres Drs. Meet Patel, Lauren Anderson, and Dan Weintraub for winning the Doctor's Dilemma Medical Jeopardy competition at the 2024 @Alabama_ACP Annual Scientific Meeting. They will represent Alabama in the national competition.
