New UBC AWP study reveals potential sampling biases in dog cognition studies similar to hand-touch training, where older, less reward-responsive dogs with inexperienced owners are more likely to be excluded—potentially skewing findings toward motivated, well-trained dogs.

Maria Chen: Though rats are highly social creatures, Beastie did not get along with other rats. As he was very friendly to humans I kept him as a single rat. He loved making nests from recycled paper, sampling gourmet foods, and listening to relaxing music.

Oceania Kreutzer: This is my kitty Alice, she's a ragdoll that I adopted this year! She is very special and is an emotional support animal for my partner. She is one of the sweetest, most attention demanding, kibble loving cats I know ❤️
