I truly do not understand Mehreen Faruqi’s arrogance advocating on behalf of Islamist interests in the Australian Senate.
She migrated to Australia from Pakistan at the age of 30. Older than I am now.
I just don’t get it. If I somehow migrated to Japan and magically became a Japanese MP after 40 years, I would be eternally thankful to the Japanese for letting me immigrate and integrate. I would do everything possible to fight on behalf of Japanese culture and Japanese interests. To assimilate fully.
So I don’t understand Mehreen. How does she not feel sick with shame? I would be sick with shame and embarrassment at the thought of standing there in the Japanese Diet demanding that the Japanese become more like me. Wouldn’t you just feel ashamed and embarrassed? To look like a literal fifth column? Doesn’t she get embarrassed? I can’t construct a theory of mind for her insane arrogance
