I’m kinda 50/50 on Nolan and Debbie getting or not getting back together in the show. Because on one hand they’ve really fleshed out Debbie as a character and have shown her grief and anger in depth, but on the other hand these hilarious panels wouldnt get adapted.

This "ending" screams this isnt the end to me and more of a "Flashpoint" universe Nayuta and Power came back to life somehow Asa is most likely still possessed by Yoru No answer what happened to death devil since death exists bc Makima is dead so anything Pochita ate should still be erased Denji has Pochita heart still somehow Chainsaw's still exists somehow Denji only has 1 testicle and kidney since he's missing his eye Denji still doesnt get to go to school Too many somehows and questions and no answers Very open ended ending that feels more like an alt world ending that will could easily lead into a spinoff Tokyo Ghoul ended on The End too before Re is announced but for now this a satisfactory ending I suppose in the hopes one day we get a proper conclusion to Denji's story
