@uberu5 @DeltyThe73rd I think it makes it harder to tell that he cares, and it dials up attention seeking that didn’t exist in the Sub (When he degrades himself after receiving a compliment). I cannot remember exactly how it went in the sub, but I’m pretty sure it was not as direct and long winded.

@DeltyThe73rd The english dub kind of makes Taira look worse and changes meaning of some parts. In the Sub, he tells Azuma, “If you don’t hate someone, I should forgive and accept the bad parts of them.” In dub, he says something like, “You either hate them, or you get walked all over.”
