Before the outage hit, Spain was running its grid with very little dispatchable spinning generation, and therefore no much inertia.

Nuclear: 11.5%
Co-generation: 5%
Gas-fired: ~3% (less than 1GW)

After disconnection from Russia the Baltic grid went through testing of various emergency scenarios. Disconnection was unnoticeable and tests were very successful. Grid is well prepared and its performance exceeds expectations.

@Osinttechnical Baltic grid today has proved that it can balance itself when necessary. Upcoming synchronisation with European grid will strengthen it further. It will create new opportunities for energy businesses in Baltic countries.

Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania have officially disconnected from the Russian power grid, and are running in an island mode.
The three Baltic states will officially join the European grid tomorrow, finally breaking a major infrastructure dependence on Russia.

@UldisBerzins22 Mēru tikai apaļās minūtēs, noķēru 14:17 49.70 Hz. Tas līdz šim zemākais. Par 100mHz iebraukts LFSM-U zonā (zem 49.8Hz). Bet viss kārtībā - sistēma iztur.
