Thank you very much for Josh's introduction. 🫶
Since I started Volar 4 years ago, I have been exploring where the highest point of DX we can get to.
- Takeover Mode is the first stage where we solve the issue of duplicate memory consumption between the Vue language server and the TS server.
- Hybrid Mode is the second stage, where we get native TS DX in Vue files.
- TSSLint is the third stage, it solves the problem of duplicate memory consumption between the linter and TS server, the memory required for the editor to achieve the same functionality will reach the theoretical minimum, and the problem of the editor getting stuck on code action on save will become history.

@johnsoncodehk @omoteota By the way, the pairing came from @johnsoncodehk showing me the TSSLint project (github.com/johnsoncodehk/…). Even with this perf fix, it's still visibly faster than ESLint for a large repo with typed linting. Very exciting to see where this goes! 5/5

Evan You's Approach to Creating Elegant Components:
1️⃣ Get the code working first.
2️⃣ Refactor the code for improved readability and reusability.
3️⃣ Gain confidence during refactoring by writing tests.
4️⃣ Extract reusable composables.
5️⃣ Make the component code self-descriptive, with each composable describing its purpose.

The good news is that I recently solved some problems that have been bothering me for a long time. One is that Volar core code is now project type agnostic and I spent two weeks on this PR.

There's lot of excitement around faster pretty printers using Rust. The main issue is that none of them match the long tail of formatting logic of prettier. I'm putting up a $10k bounty for any project written in Rust that passes > 95% of the prettier JavaScript tests.

I've read multiple times that Reddit 1.0 was written in Lisp. I didn't realize the source is public.
It's amazing. You can read the whole thing in one sitting. Even an undergrad could. It's like the essence of a…Reddit.
We took a wrong turn w/ software.

@dan_abramov One of the reasons Vue chose and still keeps using the syntax is because it is HTML-compatible - i.e. you can write a Vue template directly in HTML (parsed by the browser) and Vue can pick it up and work from there.

@TheJackForge As someone who was too dumb to figure out React and Angular, I completely disagree.
If you’re just starting in development and are looking for a framework, choose Vue.
