If the US scaled something similar across its massive rail network, it could generate enough clean, homegrown electricity to power millions of homes. This is the kind of smart, low-impact idea that gets more clean energy online without paving over more fields or wild spaces. Innovations like this show we can produce the power we need while leaving more room for wildlife and nature. Pretty cool engineering with a big upside if you ask me.

@dvillella Oh good grief gross! I had lost my passport (in my house) and recently found it. It will get me through both elections. Doesn't expire until November 25th 2028. So I can skip renewal until he's gone.

@zaptrapped What's your take on this? If true, I find it strange and disturbing. Is there some type of conspiracy here or an unfortunate coincidence? Because I am also skeptical of coincidences, especially weird ones. My 2 cents.

Weirdly the WHCD shooter did an internship at NASA JPL where 2 of the missing scientists were actively working at the time (2014)
