Uganda Christian University hosted AgentCon 2026, part of the global AI Agents World Tour, bringing together developers, researchers, and tech innovators to explore the future of Artificial Intelligence. This event focused on AI agents' smart systems that can perform tasks on their own and how they are being built and applied to solve real-world challenges.

Behind every well-performing computer system is proper maintenance, technical precision, and continuous learning. The hands-on experience in Hardware Repair and Maintenance @UCUniversity in the recess programme goes beyond identifying components to optimal system functionality.

Alumni in Spaces🎉🥳 🎯We congratulate our alumnus, Vincent Muzeyi @VMUZEYI, who has been elected as the magistrates' representative on the executive of Uganda Judicial Officers Association (UJOA) 🎳 He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws in 2016 from @uculaw . Vincent's leadership journey was very solid during his campus days, serving twice as a Member of Parliament for Residents and twice as Minister of Justice/Deputy Attorney General @theucuguild ✍️Henry noted that by actively embracing these responsibilities, @UCUniversity mentored him to become proactive, resilient, and deeply grounded. He left the university not just with a degree but as a self-contained, values-driven leader ready to navigate and impact the real world. 💥Vincent currently serves as the Magistrate of Dokolo @JudiciaryUG ; and will serve on the UJOA under the presidency of @DaphneAyebare (a Law Alumna 2011).

AI on campus, done right. Bethany Jepchumba took the stage to introduce Nexus a campus AI system designed to support learning, communication, and student productivity. By streamlining access to information, simplifying daily academic tasks, and enhancing the digital learning experience, Nexus shows how AI can truly serve education. This isn’t just about smart tech, it’s about smarter learning.

Our second speaker Emily Musimiire introduced Phalanx a system designed to enhance safety and privacy without crossing ethical lines. In a world full of cyber threats, Phalanx shows us how to monitor networks responsibly, secure systems proactively, and protect data lawfully. This isn't about hacking, it's about defense. Ethical cybersecurity is the future, and Phalanx is leading the charge.

The first speaker, Henk Boelman, took the stage at AgentCon Mukono to unpack the evolution of Artificial Intelligence and its real-world impact today. From automation and problem-solving to data analysis and intelligent systems, Henk walked us through what AI can actually do across industries. But the real conversation? It's about the shift from copilots to fully agentic systems and why humans aren't being replaced, we're being amplified.

Imani Mathias Yovani took the stage to introduce File Flow, an intelligent desktop agent that organizes your files, automates workflows and learns your habits while keeping you firmly in control. This is personal computing done right: AI that adapts to your workflow, handles the repetitive tasks, and frees you up to focus on what actually matters. The future of productivity isn’t about replacing the user, it’s about empowering them.

Alumni in Spaces 🥳🏆 We congratulate our Alumna, Daphne Ayebare @daphneAyebale, on her election as the President of the Uganda Judicial Service Officers’ Association. Daphine has become the second female president, replacing High Court Judge Olive Kazaarwe Mukwaya, who became the first female President in 2024.🤝🏻 She pursued a Bachelor of Laws from 2007 to 2011 at @UCUniversity and served as Vice Guild President on the Guild Council from 2010 to 2011. @theucuguild She currently serves as the Chief Magistrate for the Mengo Chief Magistrates Court. @JudiciaryUG 👍Daphne’s leadership track record right from school is a clear foundation that she will serve and steer the Association with honesty and integrity!
