On Thursday afternoon by Karen - Litter blinker failure ! Passed this yesterday on Kilmuir rd Dead mans corner for litter. 30 minutes & 2 bags later a lot better. Also changed 2 community bins Thanks to NLC for the uplift #makingadifference #civicpride

On Thursday A couple of different sites covered off by 3 members 3 bags from the cycle path up to Bellshill rd 4 bags from 200 metres (half)of Aitkenhead rd after NLC added this to their vegetation cutback rota. Thanks to North & South Lanarkshire for the uplifts #civicpride

as well as looking much better. We managed to clear out a huge amount of litter and debris with a small group - doing what you can for your community, even in a small way, can have a massive impact!

Wednesday Viewpark conservation group - Thank you to our fabulous Friends of the Glen volunteers and Karen from Uddingston Litter Pickers for helping us to clear a section of the river where there has been a build up of litter. The river will now be safer for wildlife 1/2….
