On Monday, 2nd February 2026, the SRC donated 2.5-horsepower air conditioner to the Audiology Department at the South Campus. This intervention was undertaken in response to a number of concerns raised by both students and staff regarding the conditions within the department.

DONATION TO THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY On Friday, 20th March 2026, UEW-SRC under the leadership of H.E. Annobil Ebenezer, presented a cash donation to members of the Muslim community in the University of Education, Winneba in support of their observance of the holy month of Ramadan.

UEW-SRC MEETS HON. ALEXANDER AFENYO-MARKIN On Thursday, 19th March, 2026, The 31st UEW-SRC Executives paid a courtesy call on the Member of Parliament for the Effutu Constituency, Hon. Alexander Afenyo-Markin, at Parliament House in Accra.

THE OFFICIAL UNVEILING OF CONTESTANTS - MISS AKWAABA 2026 The Office of the SRC/Local NUGS Women's Commissioner will officially unveil contestants for the maiden edition of Miss Akwaaba 2026 today, 18th March 2026 at LH7, South Campus, at 6:30pm. All students are invited.

The SRC wishes to inform all students to complete their medical examination by 27th March 2026 to avoid deferment of studentship as the penalty has been waived. Students who have completed the process should proceed to their various department/Faculties to collect their ID cards
