Good first 3 points today. A tight first half where @Bohs1894 took the lead before a screamer from @JonathynQuinn on his debut made it 1 v 1 at half time. We were much the better team in the second half scoring 4 more. A good result to start our @nfalliance1890 campaign

A entertaining game against @AFCNewFordley finished 3 v 3. We dominated the first half and took a 2 v 1 lead but a very attacking fordley side pegged us back in the second with some clinical finishing. Some really good play against a strong prem side throughout the 90 mins.

👤 Manager Dave Malone said: “I was about disappointed with tonight’s performance. We were second best for lots of spells in the game, but we looked a bit more dangerous going forward. All in all, it was a good run out against a very good side.

RETAINED: Well those announcements were quick, but nowhere near as quick as @OwenDavison7. The winger impressed during an injury hit season last time out but if he says fit the lightning quick winger will continue to scare FBs for another @BlythSpartanRes season.

RETAINED: After signing late last season Jack Armstrong commits to a full season. The hardworking, tireless midfielder will continue to nit play in the @BlythSpartanRes midfield. Let's hope there's no more Maradona spins in the box.
