Dr Khaled Elfandi: “Hand hygiene is Crucial in reducing transmission of infections to patient’s within our care. It’s important that patients observe us doing this before any interactions & being a good role model we’re able to set the standards to keep patients safe.”

Today is World Hand Hygiene Day and the IPC Team has been out and about chatting to our colleagues at @uhbtrust about the importance of hand hygiene. It was great to speak to so many engaged staff, and even better to get so many nominations for Hand Hygiene Heroes on our wards!
