Today's FRI Poll: Sadly, the British League for Approved National Chips (BLAND) has ordered that from now on all chips must be standardised & cooked the same way... the rest outlawed forever! Its a sad affair, but at least its letting us vote on one of four types to decide...🍟

@JimScarratt Hi Jim. Try ChatGPT (it’s free) with your request. It suggests several options. A great app for sorting out queries. Best melvyn.

Any of my farming friends know a company where I can get a fuel bowser? I’ve tried a few but all they seem to do are either 1000 lt fast tow behind truck or ‘site’ bowsers which don’t have brakes, lights etc. I also want decent wheels not car tyres so i can tow behind 🚜 offroad

Could not agree more. Particularly about the need for water. Without it nothing grows.

In coverage of UK budget, note how many comments point out lack of a ‘plan’. After years of deriding planning, people are realising planning can be good. ‘Let markets decide’ mantra is running out of road. UK needs a food plan for resilience. Big questions are ducked: 1/2

Finally filling the reservoir from river water on Monday after 60mm rain so far this month. The river is now almost over the bank, I still think we should have been filling when it was 6-8” higher than normal, but the @EnvAgency know best,🤣🤦‍♂️ @KellyHewsonF @ukirrigation
