We successfully conducted simulation trials using Leonardo's AWARE simulator on October 16th and 17th, 2023, in Milan, Italy, collaborating with EASA, Leonardo's flight control, and flight test teams. we tested our new certification guidelines via simulations on AW109 and AW609.

The Rotorcraft Certification group will be presenting five papers at the upcoming 49th European Rotorcraft Forum in Bükeburg, Germany, from 5-7 September 2023. They will showcase case studies that demonstrate how to implement our developed certification by simulation guidelines.

We had our VLN meeting on July 6th at the Swansea University. The event fostered collaboration and knowledge sharing, strengthening the network's collective expertise in UK Rotary-wing field. We extend our gratitude to the Swansea University for hosting and to all attendees.

It represents a remarkable milestone as our findings will be showcased through the publication of five papers at the upcoming European Rotorcraft Forum in Germany. The test are performed with European Union Aviation Safety Agency flight test pilots and flight test engineers

Today, we concluded the VFS Conference on Turbulence Effects on Rotorcraft on May 24. The conference attracted a diverse group of distinguished academics, industry experts, and key players in the fields of EVTOL, offshore rotorcraft operation, and drone technology.

We recently concluded a highly successful two-day intensive 8th Vertical Lift Network Workshop at Shrigley Hall, Pott Shrigley, Cheshire SK10 5SB, from May 21-23, 2022. The event brought together prominent academics and industry professionals from the rotorcraft and eVTOL.

Congratulations to Professor Mark White from the University of Liverpool for his award as a technical chair in the rotorcraft field at the 79th Annual Forum & Technology Display, which took place from May 16-18. His outstanding work has been recognized at this prestigious event.
