Congratualtions to LaRae Smith who defended her MA thesis today! This innovative project involved not only oral interviews and quantitative research but the development of a board game called "Toil" that provides players with insight into farm life during the Great Depression.

Congratulations to Jaxson Overacker (with Dr. Amy Shaw), the recipient of the UELAC Prize in History for being the top student in Pre-Confederation Canadian history last year! And many thanks to the United Empire Loyalists' Association (Calgary Branch) for donating this award.
